a little story about
our journey
a little bit of leather. a little bit of clay. one very good dog, and ten-plus years of figuring it out as I go.
it is all started with a dog named pugo.
to be honest, none of this was planned.
in 2016 I was living in bali and I adopted this cute little dog and I named him, the mighty "pugo boss".
as he grew older, I wanted to get him a nice leather collar. I looked around.. I couldn't afford the nice collar I wanted and so I did what any broke person who went to a leather workshop once back in 2012 would do: I made one myself.

I designed it so I could swap the straps, mix and match colors depending on my mood. pugo didn’t care, but I thought it was very cool.
apparently I wasn’t the only one who thought it was cool. friends started asking if I could make one for their dog. so I did.
then in 2018 I made an instagram account @two__elephants and started selling.
I won an instagram giveaway
a 7-day pottery course with @gaya.ceramic, a place where I used to work (behind computers though)
I'd always admired pottery from a distance. never thought it was something I could just... do.
I didn’t walk out of the course making masterpieces. but something about working with your hands, the way clay pulls your full attention, it got under my skin. I’ve had a deep respect for pottery ever since.
new city. same dog. same brand.
life moved me to tangerang in 2022. pugo came with me, obviously, non-negotiable. two elephants came with me too. the leather work continued, the collars kept going out, and the whole thing just kept quietly growing.

pugo settling into city life
the pottery itch came back.
five years after that first class, I finally went back. a workshop with @ponyeek reignited everything. I came out of it genuinely excited about building a pottery line as part of two elephants.
the plan started to take shape. with the guidance of @hank.hank.hankk, I got a throwing wheel, tools, the whole setup.
while I was still learning and getting my footing, I used his gas kiln to fire my pieces.

new chapter
in april 2026 I moved into a house, and this is where everything happens now. the pottery studio, the dog accessories work, the kiln room (yes I got myself an electric kiln now).
every collar, every piece of pottery that goes out, it all starts here.

what’s next?
I’m genuinely excited about what’s ahead. growing the pottery line, keeping the leather accessories going, and seeing where two elephants goes from here. it’s been ten years of figuring things out: a dog, a collar, a lucky pottery class, and a lot of learning by doing.
this studio is the first time all of it has a proper home. and I think that’s pretty good.
